Natick to offer weekly summer program

The weekly arts and entertainment program of Natick Nights is about to return.

Hosted by the Natick Center Cultural District (NCCD), Natick Nights will feature a new event each week, and will include such activities as a walking history tour, a beer or wine tasting, shopping events with specials from merchants, and street performances.

The weekly event is designed to help local institutions and businesses recover from the past year’s challenges by bringing people into the downtown area. Organizers of such events can hire printing services to create Flyers and mailers, which can be mailed to residents to inform them of goings-on.

The NCCD said in a statement that it is hoping that such events as Natick Nights will send a message to the community to visit Natick Center and support the artists and businesses that make their living in the downtown and contribute to everything that makes Natick Center the unique destination it is.

The MetroWest Visitors Bureau is providing a grant to make Natick Nights possible, through funding from the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism.

Natick Nights will be held from 5:00 to 7:30 pm every Thursday, beginning tonight (June 3) and running until July 29. Among the events planned are kids’ night, ladies’ night, and family night, along with health and wellness themes and an art walk.
