Natick mall sees opening of new fashion store
Clothing retailer H&M opened a new store on August 14 at the Natick Mall.
The grand opening was at noon and 8:00 a.m., which saw shoppers
lining up. The first 100 in line received a bag from H&M with either an umbrella or a tee-shirt and gift card that could be used that day. There were additional coupons, discounts and raffles that day as well as many special prices on women’s garments.
The new store in Natick is 17,000 square feet in size and has 50 new full- and part-time employees. It offers clothing for the family, including young ladies and men, ladies and men with “store within a store” sections for accessories, lingerie and sports apparel. The store does have a section for children.
In 2103, H&M was the user of largest organic cotton user in the world and is committed to using organic cotton exclusively by 2020 in all of its collections. The store can use flyer printing companies to create flyers and other materials to promote this commitment and its efforts to its customers.
It also has a garment recycling program and it was kicked off at the Natick Mall store where customers who brought items to be recycled before the store opened had an opportunity to win gift cards worth between $50 and $100.
