Natick library boasts more than just books this month

The Bacon Free Library located in South Natick is holding several special events during January.

On Thursdays during the month, from 11:00 am to noon, there is an Adult Coloring Book Club.

Though traditionally meant for children, adults are finding coloring Books a way to express themselves and also reduce stress. The coloring markers or pencils are provided by the library, as are the coloring pages.

On Friday afternoons between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, the library will be providing cookies, cocoa, and Books so people can warm up with a good read and have some winter treats.

Three events are scheduled for January 19. The first will be the Romance Book Club meeting at 1:00 pm to discuss the ‘The Prince Who Loved Me’ by Karen Hawkins. The next is a book club for children in grades one through three that will begin at 4:00 pm to discuss the novel ‘The Princess in Black’ by Shannon and Dean Hale. The last will be at 7:00 pm where Rachel Shulman and Jeremiah Hill of Shulman & Hill Tutoring and Educational Services will talk about how the SAT compares with the ACT, and recent changes that were made to the exam.

The use of a local Print company to Print Flyers and other materials, offering more information about these and other events during the month, is one way that they can be promoted by the library.
