Luxury sneaker store to come to Natick

Spencer Reith, Kenan Wilson and Danny Sullivan from Burlington, 19 years old each, will be opening a luxury retail store at the Natick Mall later this month.

To be called Courtside Kicks, the store will feature lightly worn and new sneakers with prices starting at $100 and going up to as high as thousands of dollars. The store has hundreds of shoe styles and shoes in every size for men, women, and children. Local Print shops are often hired by such entrepreneurs to help promote a new business in the area.

The three starting selling shoes while in high school and mostly online. Over time they were able to build a network of getting shoes and being able to distribute them to those who wanted to buy them. They are now attending college remotely, which gave them the opportunity to set up the store. They plan to work over the next six months to get the store on a firm foundation.

Sullivan said that having a brick-and-mortar store is needed for those in the sneaker business as it is considered a luxury market and many customers like to have the experience of buying in a store, particularly if they plan to spend thousands of dollars on a pair of sneakers. Sullivan added that the store is near the Tesla, Apple, and Luis Vuitton stores in the mall, so it is well placed near other luxury stores.
