Several events for the fall are lined up at the Natick Historical Society.
The first is a talk by Richard Gutman about Casey’s Diner in Natick and other iconic diners in America. Gutman is an author, curator, and an expert on diners and their history. He has written four Books about diners, including “American Diner: Then and Now,” in which Casey’s Diner, which has been in business for over 120 years, is featured.
Those who attend are eligible to win one of two Gift Certificates worth $25 to Casey’s Diner. The talk will be on Wednesday, October 9 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
There will also be a walking tour of the historic Walnut Hill neighborhood in Natick led by local historian Vincent Vittoria. Attendees will learn about the historic mansions, people, and other events that created the fascinating history of this neighborhood. The walking tour will take place on Saturday, October 19 and meet in downtown Natick on the pedestrian bridge over the train tracks. The tour will start at 10:30 am and last for an hour and a half.
After the tour, attendees can visit the Natick Artists Open Studios that will be held at several venues throughout town. Brochure printing can be used to provide more details about such events and others held throughout the fall.
