Committee looks to fundraising for prom party
In an effort to support the After Prom Party (APP) of Natick High School, which offers prom attendees a safe and fun environment to enable their festive night to last until morning, it will be hosting several fundraising efforts this month.
Today, at the Natick Roche Bros. supermarket, the group will be collecting receipts after people shop. At the end of the day, Roche Bros. will donate 5% of all sales to the APP.
Those who cannot get there today may purchase a gift card from Roche Bros. anytime while APP is raising funds, and the same proceeds from those cards will go towards APP. Flyer printing has been used by the group with more information and directions for purchasing gift cards.
Those who are interested in contributing to the After Prom Party can also mail a check to the High School, or donate online through GoFundMe.
The After Prom Party will be held from midnight until 5:00 am on Friday, May 13 at Natick High School. According to the committee for the part, the night requires a great deal of planning, fundraising, and the support of many Natick businesses. This year’s party will have a beach theme and will offer prizes and many activities, such as caricatures, bumper cars, karaoke, a DJ with music and dancing, and a range of food.
