Authors donate books and swag for Natick library auction

A fundraiser featuring Books and other items from over 50 romance authors will be held by the Bacon Free Library in Natick later this month.

The fundraiser will be an online auction with works from authors from a variety of subgenres within the category of romance novels.

Meena Jain, Director of the library, said that romance Books are very popular and are increasing in popularity. She added that authors like libraries as they feel they help to promote their Books by hosting events and having them in circulation.

Many of the items will be auctioned in packages. Two autographed Books from Mary Balogh, one of her tote Bags, and an autographed leather bookmark is one of the packages. Another from Susan Mallory consists of 2017 Calendar Stickers, a Susan Mallery notepad, three Fool's Gold audiobooks, and a Susan Mallory pen.

An advanced copy of a book, a signed book, or the opportunity to have their name in an upcoming novel are other items open for bidders. Young adult Books will be part of the swag.Funds raised by the auction will go towards the maintenance of the library.

The date for the auction is this evening, October 22, beginning at 8:00 pm, and running until until October 29 at 8:00 pm.

Flyers can be used to attract large numbers of people to events like these and to publicize fundraising efforts.
