Stargazing in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium which began in July, will conclude in just over a week’s time.
The event provides education about the constellations and the stars throughout an interactive presentation. Guests can learn about the local sky at night. Following the educational session, participants will enjoy a featured show suitable for all ages.
The planetarium is a large theater with notably sophisticated multimedia technologies. Visitors are continually mesmerized by the 4K digital video projections system that has a full dome range. A 15,000-watt digital sound system surrounds the venue.
In addition to the stargazing, the planetarium offers exhibits, celestial events, solar system exploration, and a travel through our Milky Way and into the universe.
Poster printing can be handled by local Print shops to highlight specific areas or activities. Printed in full color with attention to specific details through imagery and content, the Posters can be placed on easels near the areas or mounted on walls or windows.
