The Resonant Rogues, a band known for fresh songs in a variety of genres, will be entertaining folks in Baton Rouge soon.
Band members harmonize vocals and play the guitar, accordion, upright bass, fiddle, and banjo, showing their passion for music spanning across the globe.
The partners, Sparrow and Keith J. Smith, lead the band as they travel across continents to perform. Meshing music from the Middle East, Europe and America, they create a tapestry of traditional yet innovative music.
As the partners tour the world, they seek out local culture and musical experiences that can be woven into their style of music. They perform as full-time musicians in Asheville where they lead a swing band and a Balkan band. They also teach dance lessons to those interested in learning swing steps.
Frequently, musicians contract with local Print shops to handle brochure printing. The Brochures can depict images of the band in different locations and include text about what they bring into the world of music, while also including contact information that can assist in booking future gigs.
The Resonant Rogues will appear on Saturday, February 1 at the Zeeland Street Market located at 2031 Perkins Road. The show is from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with prices starting at $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and $30 for VIP seats.
