Individuals seeking a safe space to vent their frustrations about electronics are in luck, as a rage room is on its way to Baton Rouge to offer relief.
The Baton Rouge Smash-A-Thon will begin next month. Interested parties will join hundreds of local IT professionals in smashing old electronics and other equipment. Several destructive tools will be at each attendee’s disposal to let anger and frustration out. The smashing event will be coupled with food, beverages, and games.
Interested parties of all ages are encouraged to attend the smash bash. Attendees who bring ten or more pieces of old equipment will be compensated with five tickets. Individuals who pay for tickets can rest easy knowing that 100% of the proceeds will go to Companion Animal Alliance, an organization based in Baton Rouge. Flyer printing can be used to raise awareness of good causes while promoting such events around the town.
Guests who arrive hungry will be catered to, as the event will provide several food options for the whole family. Any attendees interested in smashing electronics will need to sign a waiver upon arrival at the venue. Athletic clothes are recommended for movement.
The Celtic Media Centre will host the Smash-A-Thon on Thursday, October 3, with guests welcome to arrive at 5:00 PM. General admission tickets are available online for $10 per attendee.
