Music legend to take the stage in Baton Rouge

A popular artist will be bringing their tour out on the road, with a local show set for early December.

Trace Adkins is a singer, actor, author, and songwriter. Making his entry to the country music scene in 1996, Adkins has remained a popular and unique artist throughout his career. His latest record features collaborations with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Pitbull, Blake Shelton, Keb’ Mo’, and Snoop Dogg.

Adkins also currently stars in the television show “Monarch” as Albie Roman, which is just one of many roles he has taken on throughout his career. In 2007, Adkins released the book “A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Free Thinking Roughneck.” Some of his songs include “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “The Way I Wanna Go,” “Just the Way We Do It,” “Lonely Won’t Leave Me Alone,” “Where the Country Girls At,” “You’re Gonna Miss This,” and “Help Me Understand.”

The star’s latest tour will be making a stop at the L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge. Attendees must bring their ID cards and be at least 21 years of age. Tickets, which are available through Ticketmaster, range in price from $60 to $195, including resales. Merchandise with a graphic design relating to the performer is often sold at concerts. The show is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 pm on Friday, December 2.
