Mid City in Bloom coming to a close

The annual Mid City in Bloom event in Baton Rouge will be coming to an end for the season in just one week. It opened in May and runs through June 19.

The Elizabethan Gallery presents the Spring Art Show each year. The activities include artists onsite to meet guests and discuss their art creations. It is a mission of the gallery to offer original art from local artists that is affordable and can easily be framed. Art available at the event includes mixed media, oils, acrylic and photography.

The Elizabethan Gallery is family-owned and operated. The owner, Liz Walker, entered the art business in 1977. The gallery attracts hundreds of art lovers from Baton Rouge and neighboring communities. The business offers one-day framing and is the only store that provides the custom service even through the busy Christmas season.

Artists that participate in onsite events typically distribute Business Cards. Business card printing includes the artist’s name, company name and logo, and contact information. This creates a contact tool for future business opportunities. Any quantity of Business Cards can be ordered.

The Elizabethan Gallery is located at 680 Jefferson Highway. The show is open Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day. Admission is free. For more details or questions, call 225-924-6437 or visit the gallery’s website.
