The Louisiana Art and Science Museum located on South River Road will host A Halloween Day at the Museum in Baton Rouge.
The museum will open at 9:30 am on a day filled with planetarium shows, hands-on activities, and other family fun. Those guests arriving early will have a chance to reserve their spot at The Astronomical World of Harry Potter, as staff will be taking bookings in the morning. The popular show will air at 4:00 pm. Tickets are required.
The Louisiana Art and Science Museum features exhibitions from international artists, along with an art collection with innovative programs in the planetarium. The mission of the museum is to develop art appreciation in addition to general science understanding for all ages.
Creativity, discovery, and inspiration are among the aims of the venue. Activities on the day will include the design of straw-powered spaceships and wand painting.
