The Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce has announced it will be hosting an Economic Inclusion Forum at the end of the month, in view of the changing demographic of the area.
This event is specifically designed to engage individuals across the business community in efforts to better discuss the growing diversity of the region, why this matters to businesses, and how businesses can better take advantage of the region’s changing trends. It is meant to specifically allow businesses to learn what is happening in the community and how they can grow their business.
The event comes with multiple sessions, a keynote lunch, and the chance to learn about a series of educational tracks, including Workforce Transformation, Elevating Your Game, and From Paper to Practice.
As always for any Chamber event, employees should arrive with plenty of Business Cards, as this event will have ample networking chances. The agenda actually has specific receptions that will allow attendees to meet.
The event is being held on Wednesday, August 30, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This all-day event is being held at the Renaissance Baton Rouge, which is located at 7000 Bluebonnet Blvd, in Baton Rouge. Tickets can be bought on the Chamber’s website and are between $75 and $110, depending on the time of registration and whether the registrant is a Chamber investor.
