Baton Rouge to host celebration of the outdoors

Local officials have announced that Baton Rouge will, once again, be hosting the annual Sportsman Show & Festival.

The event will give attendees an opportunity to check out a variety of products and services related to Louisiana’s outdoor and sportsman industry. This is the 44th annual event, making it one of the longest running such events in the state.

Last year, over 150 vendors – including those involved in hunting, fishing, and other outdoor pursuits – attended the event. Event attendees will have a chance to see many new vendors this year. While at the event, attendees will have a chance to meet with these vendors, pick up Promotional Products, and explore the Louisiana outdoor industry.

The event will also hold the Big Buck Contest, in which attendees can enter deer they have legally hunted for a variety of prizes. A variety of other services – including food and hotels – will be located on site or near the event.

The event is being held on the weekend of March 1 to 3 at Raising Cane’s River Center, located at 275 S. River Road, in Baton Rouge.

Vendor booths are still available, with costs depending on the size of the booth and the type of promotional services required. Individuals interested in a booth can check out the event website for more information.
