The Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge will be host to a performance by Garth Brooks this April. This performance will be a part of the singer's Stadium Tour.
Brooks is an American country music star best known for incorporating elements of rock and pop into his country-style works. He has released 23 total albums and nine of them have reached diamond status. Currently, he sits as the top-selling solo artist in the United States and one of the top-selling worldwide.
In addition to this, he has received several awards and honors. He has won a total of 17 Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, the Library of Congress Gershwin Award for Popular Song, and the RIAA award for selling the highest number of albums in the United States. He has also been inducted into several halls of fame, including the country music, songwriters’, and musicians’ ones.
This Tiger Stadium performance will be Brooks' first on the tour, and will also be his first time back in Louisiana after five years, and in Baton Rouge after 29 years. The seating for this concert will be in-the-round, with a maximum of eight tickets to be purchased by any individual.
