Baton Rouge to hold Flower Festival

Event organizers have announced that they will be hosting the Baton Rouge Flower Festival in early April.

The event is meant to give local community members the chance to view gorgeous flowers and have a chance to come together in the spirit of camaraderie.

This massive flower festival is highlights all the natural beauty of the local community. There will be more than 25 flower vendors in attendance, giving event attendees the chance to check out local species. There will also be food trucks, photo opportunities, and a relaxation tent.

The event will also feature the annual Birds of a Feather Gala, in conjunction with the theme of the event. There will be many floral-oriented creations throughout the venue, and attendees will be encouraged to vote for their favorite, with the winners being announced at the Gala.

The event itself will be held on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days. Tickets are $29 for general admission and $135 to the Birds of a Feather Gala. This is a family-friendly event, and kids under three years old will not be charged admission.

All profits from the event will benefit the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, so a portion of all tickets will be tax deductible. This makes them ideal for individual or Corporate Gifts.
