Baton Rouge on a heritage hunt

The Let’s Roam Scavenger Hunt activity in Baton Rouge just has a few weeks left, but it is not too late to join the fun.

Locals, visitors and new residents are invited to join a small group activity that provides the opportunity to wander through the city without reservations or tour guides. Racing against the clock to find treasures puts navigation skills to the test while everyone has a good time.

Louisiana is recognized for having extraordinarily picturesque scenery in the country. Participants will start the adventure by the Mississippi River and will be given a list of specific buildings and other sites to find and cross off. Questions like “How many state capitols are in the downtown area?” and “Where was the first library built?” can be answered by finding the exact structures.

Posters are frequently used for outdoor activities like this, and can include historical information, points of interest, clues and hints for the venture, and map guidance. Local poster printing services create Posters of all sizes and styles.

Participants will discover history, landmarks, culture and art in their scavenger hunt. Plaques and statues, as well as notable art, will be needed to solve riddles. Teams may be formed to answer trivia questions. Points are given for extra hidden treasures and amazing photos.

The Baton Rouge Scavenger Hunt will be in effect through June 30. Visit the event website for details.
