The 21st annual Baton Rouge Blues Festival is taking place in April, with a portion of the proceeds from vendors going to the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation.
The festival promises performances from 20 of the country's leading blues acts, including Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, Son Little, Louisiana Blues Revisited with Clay Parker, the Lighthouse Singers, and Arrested Development. Vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of arts and crafts, merchandise, and food.
This is a free event that is suitable for family members of all ages, although VIP tickets are also available for purchase. For $100, guests can have access to several VIP tents, the 12 Bar lounge area, unlimited food and drink, and private bathrooms.
Vendor space is still available. Fees are $650 for a food truck, $750 for a food booth, or $125 for a 10 x 10 table for all other vendors and $275 with a tent.
This event will likely attract visitors from all over the Baton Rouge area. Organizers may invest in flyer and poster printing services to help spread the word in the community.
The Baton Rouge Blues Festival is being held at the Repentance Park and Galvez Plaza on April 11 from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm. To find out the latest information about this event, visit the official Facebook page.
