Baton Rouge hosts summer career fair

Valuable employer contacts will be on hand at the upcoming Baton Rouge job fair taking place next month at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown. The event is hosted by Coast-to-Coast Career Fairs.

Jobseekers are invited to attend at no charge. From executive level, highly experienced professionals to supervisors looking to move up or entry level workers ready for the next step, the job fair can assist everyone.

Hiring managers from various companies, small and large, will be onsite to meet and interview applicants. Each business leader will be available to discuss positions available, expectations and hiring needs. Candidates will have the chance to interview and receive immediate feedback on their resumés and performance. Some may be hired on the spot.

Companies participating in hiring events of this type often order business card printing from the local Print shops. That ensures they will have an ample supply to distribute while meeting and interviewing attendees.

Most industries are represented at the job fair, including travel, accounting, aerospace, biotechnology, computer, construction, finance, food and beverage, medical, public relations, pharmaceutical, sports, and technology.
