The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is teaming up with Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. to launch a taproom at the airport that many from nearby Southgate will want to consider. The introduction of a new black, German-style schwarzbier, JET CVG, will be part of the opening of this taproom.
CEO of the airport, Candace McGraw, said this is the first time that an airport is partnering with a local brewery to create a taproom and beer flavor. CEO and president of Christian Moerlein, Greg Hardman, added that this will be a way to celebrate the opening of Malt House Taproom that is currently under construction at the airport. The new beer is designed to combine the love of travel with beer and inspire those in the local area to fly off to their new locations.
Hardman said that the brewing company is very excited about opening a tap room at the airport and more so about collaborating on a beer designed to stimulate travel. The new beer pays homage to the company’s German-American roots yet is smooth with a complexity of flavors.
The taproom is expected to open early next year in Concourse A at the airport. Flyer printing can be used to create Flyers that can be distributed throughout the airport so that travelers will become aware of such upcoming joint ventures.
