The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) will be holding its SGP Community Day 2018 next month in Cincinnati. This is sufficiently close to Southgate that many surely will want to travel across the river to attend this event.
The keynote speaker will be Ryan Mooney-Bullock of Green Umbrella of Cincinnati, who will speak about how communities build sustainability. This will be followed by several breaks for networking, a session of roundtable discussions, and four panels each focusing on sustainability in one of four industries: textiles, plastics and Packaging, instore retail, and building and events graphic design.
Speakers are looking forward to both sharing their experiences and learning from others. David McLain, Market Development Manager of Printpack, said that there is growing interest on sustainability today and the way to move forward is to understand its challenges and work together to achieve a vision of its future.
Roundtable discussions will take place in between panels and will cover various industry and sustainability topics. Attendees will be able to join in on the discussions that are most relevant to them. The day will end with an invitation-only gala dinner to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the SGP.
SGP Community Day will take place in on Wednesday, November 14 at the Renaissance Hotel. Registration can be arranged via the SGP website.
