Cybersecurity Awareness Month is being celebrated by Northern Kentucky University (NKU), which is holding its 15 annual Cybersecurity Symposium on its campus in Highland Heights.

The symposium will focus on the legal and technical challenges faced by professionals in the field. It is offered by the Chase College of Law and the College of Informatics at NKU and presented by Cortex by Palo Alto Networks. Such events may be promoted throughout a region with poster printing targeted at those in such fields and related industries.
Robert Siciliano will be the keynote speaker. He is a private investigator and security expert with over 30 years of experience in the field, and an author of five Books. He is CEO of Safr.Me and was the architect of the CSI Protection certification, a personal protection security awareness and cyber social identity training program.
There will be additional presenters from small- and medium-sized organizations, as well as leaders and professionals from Fortune 500 companies and prominent national law firms.
The NKU College of Informatics offers several programs in cybersecurity. The Chase College of Law is home to the Law + Informatics Institute, which focuses on educating and preparing students for practicing security and privacy law.
The symposium will take place on Friday, October 14.
