River Hills Pediatrics, with offices in Southgate, Florence, and Alexandria, will be joining Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Chief operating officer of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Dr. Steve Davis, said that the practice in Northern Kentucky fits with the mission of the medical center. Davis added that primary care is the focus of the vision of the center, which ensures the wellbeing of the children in the Cincinnati area and beyond. He said the goal to make sure that every child will be able to reach their full potential.
Dr. Jim Otrembiak is the head of River Hills Pediatrics. Founded in 1969, the practice includes another physician and two physician assistants, as well as a staff of over 12 people. Otrembiak said that once the practice joins Cincinnati Children’s that he will still be seeing patients and will then have the support of the hospital for the care of its patients.
He added the providers allocated to the children will remain the same and that this will be of great benefit for both the children and their parents, as it will ensure that patients will have care and services long into the future. Details about the benefits of such mergers are often outlined with brochure printing services.
The name of River Hills Pediatrics will change to Cincinnati Children’s as of February 1, 2022.
