Northern Kentucky University (NKU) will be holding its annual Lincoln Awards later this month in the Student Union.
The award will be given to St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Delores Hargrove-Young. Residents of nearby Southgate interested in such awards may want to attend this ceremony when it takes place next week.
The Lincoln Award was established by the Office of the President of NKU in 1992 to honor former or current residents of Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio who exemplify the qualities of distinguished service in their professions, and who contribute to the communities of Greater Cincinnati or northern Kentucky. It was named for President Abraham Lincoln who is identified with a strength of purpose, clarity, and polish as he worked to realize the American Dream after many years of division. More information about such awards is often provided by flyer printing.
As vice chairwoman of d.e. Foxx and Associates, Hargrove-Young sits on the board of many organizations including Wilmington College, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and the Seven Principals Foundation, Inc.
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is committed to improving the health of the communities it serves, with six facilities and more than 172 specialty and primary care throughout the regions of Greater Cincinnati, south-eastern Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.
The Lincoln Awards will be held at 6:00 pm next Tuesday, June 28.
