Residents in Newport, and nearby Southgate, can enjoy wine, art and music at the 3rd Annual ‘Jazz, Arts and Wine Festival’ coming up in the area.
Guests can sit back and have a glass of wine or walk around and view the art. There will be several different jazz performances to enjoy on both indoor and outdoor stages. Included in the musical lineup are the Chris Comer Trio, Monk River, and Lagniappe. Guests will also be treated to an organ duet and Old Green Eyes, a classic jazz singer who also plays the trumpet. Finally, the Jump ‘n’ Jive Show Band will perform an act to raise money to provide instruments for high school upperclassmen.
This event takes places at Newport on the Levee. Located beside the Ohio River, this establishment has a wide array of restaurants, shopping, and fun events. Guests can visit the movie theater, comedy club, aquarium, and dance club. There are also sightseeing opportunities on land-to-water vehicles.
