The One Highland mixed-use development project in Fort Thomas now has its first tenant, Fort Thomas Coffee, which will be in a corner space occupying 3,600 square feet. Residents of Southgate will want to try out this new coffee shop once it opens.
Owners Christine and Justin Smalley are hoping to provide modern amenities and make it an active gathering space. The coffee shop will have a wine bar, a bakery, and flexible working space. Print shops can be hired to create Flyers and other promotional materials outlining the features and offerings of such establishments once they are operational.
One Highland is currently under construction and will feature a building with three stories of commercial space and condominium residences. To be built in two phases, the first phase will have close to 13,000 square feet of retail and office space. There will be outdoor areas, accessible tenant spaces, and large storefront windows. The second and third floors will offer single-level residences designed for single professionals, seniors, and empty nesters.
The second phase will create a second building with two floors for commercial space and will span 8,400 square feet. There will be a garden between the two buildings that will be 30 feet wide and will add greenspace to the development.
