Newport locals, and those in nearby Southgate, can celebrate Labor Day at a nighttime party event coming up in a few days.
Bar Louie, a cafe and urban bar, is hosting a Labor Day Launch Party for adults aged 21 and up. Guests can enjoy DJ music, food, and view fireworks from the Riverfest in nearby Cincinnati. There will also be a live performance from the band 4th Day Echo.
For the VIP viewing deck, admission costs $60 or $75 on event day. This includes one dish from the menu, one drink, and entrance to the lower deck after party.
Admission to the lower deck, otherwise known as old Jefferson Hall or the River Rock Space, is $20, or $30 on event day. This will also be the location for the after party and the firework viewing area. After the fireworks, there will be a $5 cover charge to get into the party.
Bar Louie is located on the mezzanine level inside the gallery building at Newport on the Levee, located on 1 Levee Way. Flyer printing is one way the establishment could get the word out about the upcoming event.
The party will kick off on September 6 at 7:00 pm, and 4th Day Echo will play at 10:00 pm. The after party will go on until 2:00 am. For reservations, and to find out more, call 859-291-4222.
