Chamber to recognize businesses with an impact

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) is now accepting applications for its Business Impact Awards for 2021.

Presented by Huntington Bank, these awards recognize local business innovators and leaders that positively impact the community of Northern Kentucky and may be of interest to businesses in Southgate.

There are 10 categories in which businesses are recognized. Brochure printing can provide more details about these categories.

There is a Community Champions Award for both a non-profit and a for-profit company. These are companies engaged in and giving back to the community, and that value an inclusive workforce. The Cool Place to Work Award is fairly self-explanitory, while the Heritage Award recognizes a stable business that has been an economic contributor to the community of Northern Kentucky.

The Start-Up Award is given to a business that has been operational between one and five years and has shown proven growth, while the Business Growth Award is given to businesses that have had the greatest revenue increases over the past five years. A business that has inspired and delivered innovative ideas in the marketplace is recognized with the Innovation Award. There are also awards for business leaders in the categories of small, medium, and large businesses.

Applications for these awards will be accepted until Friday, February 26. April is when finalists will be announced, with the winners announced in May at the awards celebration.
