The Excellence in Education Celebration will be held by the Northern Kentucky Education Council at Erlanger’s Receptions Event Center this week.
Residents of Southgate will not want to miss this special event, while poster printing can be used to spread the word about such celebrations throughout the region.
This premiere event for education will be presented by Northern Kentucky University and honors the most accomplished faculty, staff, teachers, students, and community partners in the region. In addition, $2,000 in scholarships will be awarded by St. Elizabeth Healthcare to 26 seniors in high school who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of healthcare.
Dr. Robert L. Prichard, Jr., Chief Clinical Integration Officer and Executive Vice President of St. Elizabeth Healthcare will be an honoree for lifetime achievement. Dr. Prichard has spent over 30 years improving healthcare in northern Kentucky and has been a long-time supporter of student success and education.
Superintendent of Owen County School District, Robert Stafford, Ed.D., will also be honored for lifetime achievement. Dr. Stafford has spent the past 30 years in education, in several building and district-level positions, and is a founding superintendent and current chair of the iLEAD Academy, which is the first regional STEM academy in the state.
The celebration will be held tomorrow, April 27 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
