Applications for business awards now open
Businesses that are large, small, new, and longstanding, and demonstrate innovation, creativity, strong business practices, and leadership in their respective industries are being sought by the Northern Kentucky Chamber (NKY) of Commerce to apply for their Business Impact Awards for 2025. Businesses from Southgate that meet these qualifications should apply for these awards.
The categories for the awards include the Community Champions Award – For-Profit Company and Community Champions Award which recognizes an organization that actively engages with and gives back to the community and promotes initiatives that contribute to the betterment of northern Kentucky. There is also the Cool Place to Work Award which recognizes a business that is an enjoyable place to work and contributes to the growth of its employees.
The Heritage Award is given to a business that has made significant contributions to the economic development of the community of Northern Kentucky and has demonstrated consistent stability. The Innovation Award is given to a business that has inspired and introduced new thinking to the marketplace and demonstrated its unique difference.
Other awards include the Environmental Stewardship Award, Start-Up Award and the Small, Medium, Large Business Awards.
Local print shops can help spread the word about such awards and the application process with flyers and other printed materials.
