Georgetown residents should begin preparations next month, as a gala is visiting to celebrate Irish heritage and the country’s national day.
The SS Francis & John Parish and St. John School are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day gala in a few weeks, and area residents are invited to attend and participate. The event will provide attendees with a night of food, music, dancing, and revelry. Guests can also expect a silent auction to win prizes at the event.
Participants can dress formally or informally for the event. The event’s hosts request that all attendees wear green to spread cheer and festivities. Registered guests will receive dinner with their tickets, though alcoholic beverages will be available at the bar for cash. A block of rooms has also been reserved for guests who want to party long into the night. Poster printing is a reliable way to spread awareness of the gala around town.
The silent auction will offer registered guests an opportunity to win valuable prizes. Tickets for events, jewelry, and bourbon will be included with the prizes. Attendees are encouraged to invite friends and family to celebrate.
The Hilton Garden Inn Lexington Georgetown will host the event, which is planned for Saturday, March 16, with the doors opening at 5:00 PM and ending at 11:00 PM. Tickets are $60 per person.
