A historic Georgetown space will be running a Halloween themed fundraiser in mid-October for a pair of causes.
The Haunted Mansion Masquerade is hosted at the Ward Hall estate. The event is a party, silent auction, and tour of the venue, along with additional entertainment such as ghost stories, music, and cocktails. The money earned will be split between the Ward Hall Preservation Foundation and Youth Theatre of the Bluegrass.
Guests are highly encouraged to dress up in accordance with the 1920s/Jazz Age theme. The hosts might even have a few prizes to hand out to the best ones, although dressing to match this theme is not required of attendees. Hors d'oeuvres and themed drinks will be available for guests throughout the party. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age.
Tickets come in two options – couples or single. A pair of entry passes will cost $100, with individuals priced at $60. Those wishing to attend can buy their ticket at AllEvents.in. Flyer printing will commonly be used for fundraisers and community-run experiences when organizers are looking to get the word out.
The spooky event will be from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on October 13. This date happens to be a Friday this year, adding to the eerie atmosphere, since “Friday the 13th” is a common trope among horror stories.
