The YMCA in Portage provides the community with a place to gather, as well as get active and learn some new skills, and it will be the beneficiary of the funds raised by a holiday-themed photo shoot.
Local families who would like to capture the spirit of the season will be able to do so when they book a timeslot for this photo fundraiser. Each session will be 20 minutes long, and Matt Scott Photography will be taking the snaps.
Each family that participates will be able to view their finished photos between 48 and 72 hours after they have been taken, and they will be professionally edited. The pictures will be uploaded to an online album, and the families will have access to them for up to 10 years. The backdrop will be specially prepared for the occasion, and it will have a holiday theme.
Photo studios that offer the public a chance to get some holiday portraits will be able to obtain backdrops from a printer that provide wide format and other specialty printing services. It will also be able to prepare Letterheads and additional marketing materials
This holiday photo shoot for Portage families will be capturing the spirit of the season on November 12 and 13. The temporary portrait studio will be set up at 3100 Willowcreek Road.
