A Portage evening event will give dads and their daughters memories to cherish and capture the fleeting moments of childhood.
Portage Parks has organized its annual Daddy Daughter Dance. Woodland Park at 2100 Willowcreek Road will be the location for the function, and both Portage residents and others from further afield who are interested are on the guestlist,
Dads of daughters aged three and up are encouraged to reserve their tickets well in advance, as they are expected to sell out. The festivities will begin with a keepsake photo session with the ticketholder's choice of two backdrops, and it will then be time for dinner and dancing. The meal will be served buffet style, and a soda bar and cupcakes are both on the menu. Tickets start at $35 each, or $45 for non-residents.

The 2026 Daddy Daughter Dance will offer a magical experience on Friday, February 6th. Its doors will open to ticketholders at 6:00 pm and the event will wrap up at 8:30 pm, and tickets are now available on the City of Portage’s website.
