Portage pet parents who want to treat their furry friend to some Easter-themed fun will find lots to talk about when they attend a local activity.
A canine-friendly meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny is scheduled for Woodland Park, and it will be free to attend. While all are welcome, everyone is asked to contribute a donation for the Hobart Humane Society if they can.
All dogs participating in the egg hunt and Easter Bunny meet-and-greet must be leashed at all times, and they can find and collect a maximum of three of the eggs that will be hidden throughout Woodland Dog Bark. The eggs will each contain a doggie treat prepared by Naturally Jacks, and everyone who brings a donation for the Humane Society will receive a ballot for the raffle draw. Attendees will be responsible for their pet’s behavior, and must clean up after them.
Community events often include prize draws, and organizers may choose to reach out to local businesses seeking the donation of Corporate Gifts in kind to use as prizes. Companies can have these prepared by local printers that supply in-house Graphic Design Services.
Portage’s furry friends will be celebrating spring with this special event scheduled for Saturday, March 28. More information about the start times for the egg hunt and other activities can be found on the city’s website.
