Portage golfers who have been looking for an excuse to take to the links at a local course are invited to add their name to the list of players at the 41st annual Spring Swing.
Open to both Chamber members and the general public, this popular long-running activity will give the attendees the opportunity to meet and mingle with others in the area's business community. It has been scheduled for a Friday, and early bird tickets are $150 each. This fee will increase on May 18.
The day will get started with registration and a meet-and-greet breakfast, and when the shotgun fires at 10:00 am, the golfers will take to the course. Lunch will be served while they play, and the fun will wrap up with a buffet-style dinner and awards presentation to the top players and contest winners.
To add an extra touch of excitement to the day, there are two designated car holes, and the top prize for a hole-in-one at these will be a new car. Companies that prepare Promotional Products can craft special signage to use during an event that includes the Logo Design its various sponsors.
River Pointe Country club will be hosting the annual Greater Portage Spring Swing Golf Out. Golfers will enjoy a day of fun in the sun on Friday, June 14.
