Porter County Aging and Community Services provides the area with a range of services and plays an important role in its social safety net. It recently announced that it will be hosting a special giveaway event near Portage this summer.
The beginning of August will see the not-for-profit organization distribute clothing and other essentials to community members in need. This in-person activity will take place at the group’s offices, which are located at 1005 Campbell Street in Valparaiso.
Those who wish to take advantage of the opportunity will be able to pick up new Victoria Secret brand underwear, and Bombas socks and bras will also be available. There will be other clothing as well, along with make-up, skincare items, and other accessories. This offer will continue for as long as supplies last.
To add even more value for the community members who drop by, local not-for-profit organizations have been invited to sponsor the function by setting up a vendor booth. Groups that take part in organized gatherings will be able to hand out Business Cards and other materials to the public.
