As another summer turns into fall, Portage will once again be celebrating a popular culinary ingredient. People will be coming in from all over to be part of this year’s Bacon Fest, and tickets are now available to the public to be part of the festivities.
Those who attend Bacon Fest 2019 will be treated to a huge assortment of dishes that all feature bacon as one of the main ingredients. It will give restaurant owners a chance to strut their stuff, and eateries from all across North West Indiana will be represented.
The event, which is billed as being the most popular of its kind in the community, is expected to draw a large crowd. A full schedule of entertainment will be running throughout the day, and there will be a large variety of vendor booths set up as well. The organizers are currently accepting applications from local businesses and organizations that would like to be part of the fun, and applications will be accepted until August 1.
