Portage parents who would like to treat their family to some springtime fun are invited to purchase their tickets for a special local event that will have the whole town hopping.
The Kiwanis Club of Portage takes part in a variety of community service projects, and one of these will kick off the springtime season. It will welcome a special guest, and there will be lots of “egg-citement” for both kids and their parents or caregivers.
Guests will be treated to a hearty breakfast, and everyone can fill up on all-you-can-eat pancakes and choose their other favorite morning fare. Egg hunts will be on the agenda, and crafting kits will be on offer for $1.00 each. Kids can have the face painted, and the Easter Bunny himself will make an appearance to meet the attendees and pose for pictures. Tickets start at $8 each, and those aged four and under may enter for free.
Community service groups that host events often call on the local business community for support. This gives these companies an opportunity to show their public spirit, and including their Logo Design in the materials used to market a function is one way organizers can thank them for their help.
The Kiwanis Club of Portage will be hosting its Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 23 at 2100 Willowcreek Road. The fun will get started at 8:00 am.
