Portage chamber to host jolly holiday mixer

The Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce will soon be celebrating the end of another year by hosting its annual holiday mixer.

The group has issued a VIP invitation to its membership to attend its “Put Your Jolly On” networking party. The guests will be able to catch up with old friends and make new ones, all while building a strong network of contacts.

While the function will have a serious side, it will also encourage everyone in attendance to have fun. Admission is free to Chamber members, and everyone who plans on coming out is asked to sign up in advance, as this will aid in planning the occasion. Light bites will be served to the crowd, and a cash bar service will be on site. Decor for a holiday-themed event can help to make it feel even more effective, and will be available at area banner printing companies.

In keeping with the Chamber’s tradition of supporting the local community, it will include a donation drive for Toys for Tots in this evening event. Those who make a donation of a new, unwrapped toy will receive a free drink ticket, and the proceeds will be distributed through this national level program administered by the US Marines.

The Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce will be hosting this event filled with holiday cheer on December 13. Marina Shores has been booked for the occasion.
