A Portage area not-for-profit group that works to help make sure everyone in the area has fit and proper housing has set the date for its 3rd annual summer fundraiser, which will be a foodie-friendly experience. The Thursday evening function is scheduled to run for four hours, with food available for purchase throughout the evening.
The 3rd annual Backyard BBQ with Home Team Valpo, Inc. is right around the corner, and it will help fall to get off to a fun start. Geared towards adults, tickets for the event are $65.87, which also includes taxes and ticketing fees.
Those on the guestlist will be invited to enjoy a selection of food served hot off the BBQ, and there will also be backyard-style games to play. The gathering has been scheduled for Trailyard, and the musical entertainment will be supplied by Angeo Cicco.
This celebration of community spirit, as well as the generosity of those who call the Portage area home, is hoping to reach its fundraising goals. A banner printing company will be happy to help add an even more festive feel to such an occasion by supplying decor and other necessary materials.
