A Portage area event that will combine a pub crawl with a historical tour will kick off the month of November, and it will depart from The Franklin House in Valparaiso.
This walking tour will visit several locations in the community, and these will be different from those on offer during the usual excursion the organizers host. The attendees will be visiting several sites that some consider to be haunted, and everyone who Signs up is asked to make sure they arrive on time.
The guide for the activity will regale the participants with stories about the various stops, and while beverages are not included in the ticket price, everyone will be able to purchase a drink or drinks, if they wish. It was explained in its listing that the facilitators may even have some ghost stories of their own to tell. Everyone who participates must be at least 21 years old, and IDs will be checked.
The organizers of the tour explained that it will go ahead rain or shine unless the weather is really bad. Stationery printers will be able to prepare leaflets of information to hand out during a guided event so that the participants will be able to learn even more on their own.
This special installment of The Haunted Pub Crawl of Valparaiso will depart from The Franklin House promptly at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25.00 each.
