Portage area fundraiser to have good times on tap

A casual afternoon is on offer for foodies that will bring together a curated group of over 100 craft beers for sampling alongside a food buffet.

This event, which is often a quick sellout, has been planned by County Line Orchard and will raise funds for both the United Way, and food banks in Portage and other area communities.

The Big Barn Beer Fest will give the public an opportunity to fill their plates while helping to make sure all their neighbors also have food on their tables. To help maximize the impact of the afternoon, guests are asked to bring along a donation of non-perishable food items. These will be collected for area food pantries.

General admission ticket holders will be welcome to enjoy samples of the assorted beers that will be on tap, and designated driver passes are also available at a reduced price. An assortment of bands and performers will provide live entertainment, and the whole occasion has been arranged so that it will be laid back and fun.
