An upcoming event will help to make the long month of January a lot more fun for local beer fans.

The Big Barn Beer Fest will feature more than 100 craft beers produced in the local area, and the function will be held at Hobart’s County Line Orchard. Both general admission and designated driver tickets are available, the guestlist is restricted to those age 21 and up.

While the attendees enjoy mingling and sampling the brews on tap, they will be treated to live entertainment and also a buffet featuring a variety of food choices. While they do, they will be offering a helping hand to those in need by supporting the United Way of Northwest Indiana Food Pantry. Everyone is asked to help the celebration make an even bigger impact by bringing a donation of non-perishable food.

While the main goal of a fundraiser is to collect money in support of a cause, the organizers often also wish to increase awareness of it in the community. A brochure printing company will be able to help by preparing items that show how an organization is making a difference.

County Line Orchard will be opening its gates for the celebration at 2:00 pm on January 29. The festivities will continue on until 6:00 pm, and tickets can be purchased through its online listing.
