Local business community to shine during Portage event

Portage businesses that have been looking for a way to showcase themselves to their community may wish to make plans now to be part of this spring’s Community and Business Night, which is one of the ways the local Chamber of Commerce serves its membership.

Provided it goes ahead amid responses to the coronavirus outbreak, this will be the 27th year for the annual Portage Community and Business Night, and this year’s event will have a Roaring 20s theme. There are several ways for a business or group to get involved in the evening, and both Chamber members and non-members alike are welcome to take part.

Companies can book a booth space now, and there are several options available for this. Food trucks and other mobile food vendors can also reserve a space, and not-for-profit groups are also welcome. It is expected that as many as 800 community members will attend the event, making it a great chance for the businesses and groups that take part to introduce themselves to their community.

When making plans to be a part of this sort of event, businesses may wish to pay a visit to an area printing services company. It will be able to supply everything from booth decor to professional quality Business Cards.

The 2020 Portage Community and Business Night plans to showcase area companies on April 16. Woodland Park will serve as the venue for the occasion.
