Chamber accepts submissions for annual community guide

The Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce will once again be publishing its Community Profile, and it has issued a call to the community to anyone who would like to be included.

The Chamber publishes this community guide each year, filled with information about local businesses, schools, charities, and other groups. This year’s submissions will be included in the 2023/2024 printing, and getting involved will come with a variety of perks.

Those who include a piece in the publication can count on it being read by up to 4,000 Portage residents. The price to insert an advertisement starts at $150 for a business card-sized graphic design, and goes up to $1,700 for one that will be placed in the outside back cover. For some groups, the fee will be including in their Chamber membership dues. If not, they can upgrade their membership.

Many communities choose to publish guides to help locals make the most of what is available to them in their home area. A printing services company will be able to offer an assortment of options for preparing bound materials.

The Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce will soon be distributing its 2023/2024 Portage Community Profile. The final date to submit an ad for publication is this Saturday, April 1, and they can be emailed to the Chamber Office at erobles@portageinchamber.com.
