Business owners in Barrington will want to mark their Calendars for an upcoming workshop that will look at the ways these companies can grow through government contracting opportunities.
The Saluting Success in Government Contracting workshop, which is being presented by The Economic Development Center at CMAA, will be coming to nearby Hoffman Estates next month to highlight local veterans and their successes in the world of government contracting. These veterans will share their stories to provide inspiration while helping businesses in the area learn more about navigating the marketplace for contracting opportunities.
The event will be highlighted by a panel of successful veterans who will discuss their strategies for building strong businesses and overcoming challenges. Attendees will also get to stop by the booths of government agencies to learn about potential opportunities. Networking opportunities like those at events like this are much easier to navigate with business card printing providing top-notch cards that make meaningful first impressions.
Food and drinks will be available to guests from local small businesses, and a post-workshop happy hour is also on the agenda. It is expected to be a prime opportunity for networking.
The Bell Works Chicagoland, located on Center Drive in neighboring Hoffman Estates, is hosting the workshop. It is set for Thursday, November 5, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. General admission tickets are free online.
