Culinary clinic presents learning opportunity for Barrington foodies

A culinary clinic is around the corner in Barrington for this autumn, and foodies in town will want to save the date in their phones.

The Lunch & Learn: Art of the Sandwich event, hosted by Boris Mantatsky, has an official date, with online registration now open to interested individuals who want to learn more about making savory sandwiches in their own kitchen. Members of the community are welcome to attend and bring lunch from home while enjoying discussions about ingredients and food-related topics, in addition to witnessing live demonstrations.

Chef Mantatsky, Fix Sandwich Shop’s owner, will guide the learning event and take guests through each step of making the perfect sandwich. Samples of authentic Italian specialties will be available for participants to try, including Prosciutto Toscano and other premium meats, as well as homemade pestos. Flyer printing provides a cost-effective way for promoters to reach a broad audience through mail and public impressions, increasing awareness of such events.

The chef will also use the event to share updates on his restaurant and share his culinary secrets with the audience. Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided for guests for a comfortable culinary experience.

Barrington’s White House, located on West Main Street in Barrington, will host the clinic. The doors open at 11:30am on Monday, October 19th. Tickets can be reserved online for $17.85 per person.
