Barrington women can look forward to a leadership luncheon that has scheduled a stop in town.
The Ladies Leadership Luncheon with Let It Be Us is around the corner, and Barrington women are invited to attend for information and inspiration. The event aims to bring local women in leadership positions together to tackle challenging topics, with this upcoming gathering focusing on Girls in Foster Care. Speakers will look at the outcomes of these girls and what their futures look like.
Organized by Let It Be Us, a Barrington-based non-profit and child welfare agency, attendees can expect to learn much about the foster care system. The organization’s board member, Kaycee Coles, will host the gathering and clear the way for several speakers. Some anticipated attendees include Mary Edly-Allen, an Illinois State Senator, and Let It Be Us’s Vanessa Baie.
Attendees will listen to the speakers share their thoughts and expertise while networking with like-minded women. Business Cards are an excellent way to swap information at such events. The venue will feature an open bar, complimentary lunch, and opportunities to learn about girls' experiences in foster care.
The luncheon will be held at the Barrington Hills Country Club on Thursday, October 17, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Tickets start at $100 per guest, and interested parties can learn more online.
